Laurie Morrison embraces the "slow photography" movement with her use of analogue film photography. Each work is unique and irreplicable as she carefully hand paints into her photos watercolour paints that she makes from plant materials from her garden or foraged from the surrounding site of the photograph depicted in the work. She is drawn to the landscape of the Region and her work reflects this, from our famous landmarks to the remnants of its industrial past.
