Chandi Jayawardena, DPhil is a visual artist whose practice reflects a lifelong global journey in over 100 countries. He studied visual arts in Sri Lanka, Guyana, Jamaica, and Canada, and is currently continuing his studio art studies at Brock University. Since his first solo exhibition in 1994, Chandi has presented his work in 18 solo and 43 group exhibitions internationally. His paintings are held in public and private collections in Asia, the Caribbean, North America and South America with a major work currently displayed at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario.
