Since returning from sailing a small boat around the world I have rekindled my love of art.

I continue to develop my skills and enjoy the various exciting effects and vibrant colours of acrylics, generally with landscapes and seascapes. Occasionally I will take a detour into still life exercises, or experiment with abstract ideas.

My love of art began in the UK countryside - sketching east coast shorelines, vibrant landscapes, birds and animals, using a combination of pen and ink or water colours. I am drawn to record the ordinary sights around me and I like to tell a story with my work.
