Members - Danika Jayawardena

Danika is a visual artist and poet who hails from a family of artists. Her creative work is deeply influenced by her global travels and her two-year residence in the Caribbean. She studied visual arts at the Niagara Falls Art Gallery, where she also volunteers each summer, helping to facilitate art camps for children. In 2025, the City of Niagara Falls awarded Danika a Volunteer Recognition Award for her contributions to the gallery.

A member of the St. Catharines Art Association (SCAA), Danika has exhibited her artwork in eight group exhibitions:
