On Sunday, May 31, 2026, under beautiful cloudless skies and perfect sunshine (which we had ordered months in advance), we held our first St. Catharines OPEN STUDIO TOUR.
Organized by the St. Catharines Art Association, the event was a tremendous success. With 9 venues, 19 artists, and more than 650 paintings on display, visitors had plenty to see and enjoy. Attendance exceeded our expectations, and many artists reported successful art sales throughout the day.
Even more encouraging was the overwhelmingly positive feedback we received. While approximately 99.9% of comments were favourable, we are still searching for the one person who suggested we should have provided free car washes and foot massages!
A follow-up survey will be sent out shortly, as we believe there is always room for improvement. We look forward to building on this year's success and making the 2027 Open Studio Tour even better.
