The bidding begins April 4, 2019 for the 49th edition of Dundas Valley School of Art’s Annual Art Auction.

This year’s edition features pieces from art world masters such as Pablo Picasso, works from iconic Canadian artists such as Conrad Furey and Abraham Anghik Ruben, and a vast selection of artwork by the region’s finest new and established artists, including Carol Basciano and other SCAA members.

Over 1,500 original works will be on display in all mediums – paintings, pastels, drawings, prints, photography, sculpture, pottery, glass, fibre art, jewellery and more. Take advantage of this exceptional opportunity to purchase original, high-quality and affordable artwork.

Come view the hundreds of works of art on display throughout the school and place your silent bids. Other highlights include the Dream Auction, featuring great value gift packages from local businesses, and the Discovery Room which showcases a wide selection of highly affordable pottery and matted works, books, art supplies and equipment.

Live Auction:

Saturday, April 6, 8:00 p.m. (doors open at 7:00 p.m.)

The marquee event of the weekend, the Live Auction is held in the school’s premier event space, the Loft Studio, and features 50+ distinct selected works such as the Picasso and Furey, along with leading regional artists such as Catherine Gibbon, Laura Culic, Susannah Bleasby, Marina Randazzo, Peter Fischer, Barb Sachs, Julia Veenstra, Laurie Wonfor Nolan, E. Robert Ross and Susan Outlaw among many others. Silent auction bids on all other artwork also close on this evening – be here for the food, drink and fun and to ensure your bids win your favourite pieces.

Tickets for the night are $35 in advance. $40 at the door. Purchase tickets online below or at DVSA.
