Robin Nisbet

Robin Nisbet was born in Ottawa, Canada. She received her Bachelor of Studio Arts, Honours (with a concentration in digital media) from Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada.

Frederick Nietsche believed art to be the proper task of life. It is a source of pure joy that makes life endurable – it sustains, supports and enhances our lives by forcing us to question, by showing opposing views, and according to Nietsche, is ultimately our purpose for living. Robin’s passion for art has truly been a life-long journey - the layers of acrylic which bring life to her paintings mirror the layers of life experience which are reflected in her work.

Robin works across a diverse range of mediums including painting, illustration, photography, sculpture and digital. Robin is an art instructor, workshop facilitator and freelance graphic designer. She lives and works in the Southern Niagara Region of Ontario, Canada. Her work can be found in private collections in Canada, Mexico and Germany.

Robin’s Song Art Studio is located at
150 Steele Street, Port Colborne, ON L3K 4X6
