Always enjoying hand work; Gail took many courses in sewing, needlework, millinery, smocking, beading & jewellery making, over the years.
She made her career in Retail and Interior Design, opening a Bath Boutique first, and then moving to St Catharines and enlarging the business (Nettle Creek Shop) to include draperies, bedding, upholstery, wallpapers, art and decorative furnishings. With a great staff; and family the shop grew to be 6,000 sq ft. In Home Design Services kept Gail busy over the 35 years in business. By 2006, health was a concern and prompted her to retire. Now having time to pursue hobbies, she also decided to try painting and art. Still very much a beginner; but loving the experimentation!
