The presentation will be on behalf of the Winsor & Newton Fine Art Collective (F.A.C.). Doug will be focusing on Winsor & Newton Professional Acrylic paints and will demonstrate the working properties of these acrylics and how to use the mediums to achieve special effects. The F.A.C. programme was started by Winsor & Newton about twenty years ago to provide information on not only their products but also how they can be used to create the best effects. Doug will also focus on the differences and properties of the pigments, and why as an artist it is important that you know how they can be used to their best potential in your paintings.
Meetings, open to the public, are held the fourth Tuesday of every month, beginning at 7:00 pm from September through June (except December) at The St. Catharines Museum, 1932 Welland Canals Pkwy, St. Catharines, ON L2R 7K6.
