We are excited to announce an Art Sale and Silent Auction taking place on August 30 to September 1, 2019 at RiverBrink Art Museum.
We invite you to donate your works of art to this major fundraiser supporting both Programming and Exhibitions at RiverBrink.
We anticipate a wide variety of donated works of art to be available for sale or silent auction at this event. Practicing artists will have the opportunity to reach a wide audience while contributing to this worthy cause. Other art patrons will also be supporting RiverBrink by making a donation. The event will be prominently advertised and open to members of RiverBrink and to the public.
Please get your donations in to RiverBrink (address below) by the end of July.
Your much-appreciated donations of art work will be vetted by a committee and evaluated by Geoffrey Joyner, President (retired) of Joyner Waddington's Canadian Fine Art. Geoffrey will determine the optimum sale price for each work and the work will be priced to sell. If the work sells, participants will receive a tax receipt for 100% of the value assigned by Geoffrey to each donated art work. If the work does not sell it will be returned to the donor. We are seeking a wide variety of original art works including but not limited to paintings, drawings, prints, photographs and watercolours, both historical and contemporary, in good condition and ready for sale.
Although RiverBrink receives financial support from the Weir Foundation, government grants, and the generosity of individuals, additional funding is needed for exhibitions and programming. We ask for your support and participation in this exciting new fundraiser for RiverBrink. If you do not have art works to donate, we are also seeking monetary contributions and sponsorships along with volunteers for the event.
We are kicking off the three day event with an exclusive ticketed Opening Reception on Friday, August 30th. The reception will be catered by Treadwell Cuisine paired with Reif Estate wines and music by Peter Shea. See below for a link to the site with more details about the fundraiser.
